Županja [ˈʒupaɲa] (Hungarian Zsupanya) is a town in Croatia. The town is located in eastern Croatia, which is regionally and historically called Slavonia, immediately on the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. Županja covers an area of almost 89 km² along the Sava River and is the center of the županjska Posavina microregion. The city is 80 meters above sea level.
